Howdy all!

Old Rep Rules - No Longer Applies:
As many of you know, Kabal is a gaming community that is spread across a large number of games and other activities we all take part in. While we have always fostered a community that is very liquid in its composition, we have found recently that our in game communities have been suffering from drift as we continue on in different directions while we’re playing.

While this is fine for our individual members, we’ve noticed that our GW2 community has also suffered from this drift.


To help ease this situation, we have decided to change our representation requirements for being in the GW2 guild.

Don’t freak out just yet! We feel these changes are going to allow us to keep the guild active while allowing our members the freedom to keep doing activities that Kabal may not be the most active in on a day to day basis (WvW in GW2 or PVP in general). This will also not affect your overall membership in the greater Kabal gaming community, only the GW2 branch of our guild.

To this end, we are going to require a new 100% guild representation requirement when you are playing in PVE maps. This requirement will not be required when you are playing in PVP or in WvW maps/zones, where being in different teams/guilds may be required to achieve the best results. We will also not be holding this against members who represent different guilds for special or large world events (Tequatl, World Exploration Events, etc.) that require a focused group to achieve.

Guild members should tell other guildies that they are doing such events before jumping guilds to avoid any confusion. Once the event is over, guild members should return to the guild proper.

12/20/2015 New Rep Rules -

Two things have changed since we implemented the 100% requirement.

  • Many of us have returned to GW2 with the HOT launch as our primary game; we are no longer spread thin.
  • Arenanet added the ability to see and chat in multiple Guild chats

With these changes, we decided to restore our original representation requirement: Majority Rep or 75%.


Members who do not follow these requirements will be asked to follow our new rules as a warning. Extended non-representation will result in being kicked from the GW2 guild with an offer to be reinvited at a later date.

We hope you all understand and appreciate why we are deciding to add this requirement to our GW2 guild.
